The SETI Project?, originally uploaded by antigenre.

No, it’s a bunch of rings that I’m taking to The Market NYC this Saturday! I’m so excited about doing my first show in New York and am working away getting tons of pieces ready. Two new collections will be making their debut, as well. I’ll be sure to add the new items to my shop as soon as possible.

The Market NYC is a place for clothing, accessory and home goods designers to showcase their wares and is held every weekend at two locations in the city. I’ll be at the Mulberry Street spot from 11:00 in the morning to 7:00 at night. Take a look at the link below for more information. See you there!

I just joined Twitter.  I’m not quite sure what to do with it or how often I’ll update it, but it’s kind of fun!

Corsico Rings in progress, originally uploaded by antigenre.

Yep, I’m back on the assembly line! I’ve been wanting to get some items back into my shop and also have some extras to send along with my consignment order. These rings are going to be given a blue-green patina, but I’ve discovered that the patina I’m using can be really hit-and-miss sometimes. It’s always interesting to see how it turns out.

This Is A Test

So WordPress decided to play around with the dashboard here, and I can’t for the life of me figure out what to do with it.  How do I upload images with no easily locatable browse function?  WHAT’S GOING ON??????  Sorry, mometary panic there.  So, I’m going to publish this post, tinker with it a bit and see if there are any problems or bugs with it.  Any suggestions out there for better blog hosts?

I’m seriously thinking of switching to Typepad or Blogspot now, but I worry about getting my traffic directed there, especially that which comes from other blogs that have me on their blogroll.  Oh, what to do!

Noo Moos!, originally uploaded by antigenre.

There is nothing better than receiving a beautifully packaged, well-presented parcel in the mail!

The first thing I noticed about buying on Etsy a year ago was how well my purchases were wrapped and how much attention to detail went into the presentation and the enclosed material. While I certainly don’t expect all the extra effort, it does make the shopping experience a little more special.

I especially love cool, well-designed business cards and other marketing material that communicate the overall style and message of the store. I’ve got a great collection of cards now from some of the fabulous sellers – like Treehouse28, Bloodle, and Tricia McKellar – that I’ve bought from. I just got my own new Moo cards today, and I’m super happy with how they turned out!

Treasury Screen Shot, originally uploaded by antigenre.

I think everyone loves getting gold stars! I know I did when I was a kid in grade school and a gold star (sometimes they were green or red, but hey…) was the highest form of praise on homework, tests or art projects. Needless to say, I’m always happy to see a gold star in the treasury list on Etsy. Not only is great press, it means that someone takes my work seriously, appreciates the quality of the photo and sees the featured piece fitting into a larger theme of colors, items or ideas.

SandBlueGreen was put together by UnaOdd and will expire early in the morning on Tuesday, March 11th. Take a look at it while you still can, and be sure to check out UnaOdd’s Etsy shop!

My Oblate Earrings can be seen in my shop.
